Silicon Dioxide, extracted from sand is the chemical component that makes glass. When mixed to our secret formula, it creates a liquid chemical which when applied to the surface cross bonds and links together to form a compound roughly 2-3000 nanometers thick (2-3microns).

During the curing process these cross bonded particles form one solid sheet of semi flexible glass to protect the surface from water, acids, heat, UV, bacteria and even radiation.

Waxes and sealants obviously offer very little swirl resistance.  When you wash, dry, or touch your paint at any time you have the potential to scratch the surface.  
The scratches we are talking about here are very fine and referred to as “swirls” but as they build up the level of gloss you see as reflections and depth to your paint withers.  These swirls refract light away from your eyes which is one of the causes of a dulled appearance to your paint over time.
Finest Reserve assists in resistance to fine swirls alongside proper maintenance and care.  It should be noted that no coating is swirl proof and it is important to use only high quality wash mitts and drying towels or a blower to maintain near perfection.
We highly recommend allowing your Licensed Finest Reserve Installer to either maintain your vehicle or ask for training in proper wash techniques.

Traditional waxes and sealants are not very resistant to salt water, algae or scum.  Ceramic paint coatings may offer more protection but silica based coatings attract salt water leaving staining.

Anybody that has just waxed their car will tell you – within a couple hours they can see the dust building up on it and after a drive that dust is still there.  It doesn’t blow off and it does accumulate on the carnauba wax layer.  Polymer sealants are a little better and stay cleaner than waxes however they too allow dirt and dust to stick to them.  Compared to wax, dust and dirt retention is lowered up to 80% with CQuartz Professional.  Of course some will gather and collect over time but you will enjoy the beauty of your vehicle between washes when protected by CQuartz coatings where as with other products the paint will look dirty faster.
In the air around us and on the roads we drive, all sorts of contaminants attack your paint.  Iron particles coming off the brakes of other vehicles can lodge into your paint and allow moisture to penetrate around them.  Over time the oxidation process from moisture and sun break down around these iron particles and eat microscopic holes into your paint. CQuartz Professional puts an end to this with a thick barrier that does not allow these contaminants to reach the paint surface and are removed much more easily.

When Finest Reserve is selected, there is only one option for preparation of the vehicle.  No expense will be spared in the preparation of the surface before application of Finest Reserve!   A mandatory minimum 2 coats of Reserve are applied and heat cured at a consistent 55°c via IR cure lamps for the ultimate automotive enhancement and protection.
Additional services including coating of interior, glass, convertible roof, plastic trim, brightwork, and wheel coating are also offered by our installers.  Some of these items may be included in your Finest package or may be offered a la carte. Ask your CQuartz installer for more details.
After your vehicle has been returned to you, our commitment does not end.  One of the greatest advantages of Finest Reserve is the line of maintenance products designed and manufactured in house specifically for use with our advanced nanotech coatings.
Your specialist is mandated to provide a thorough explanation and demonstration of how to care for your vehicle before your first wash.  Furthermore they will present you with an owner’s manual for ease of care and maintenance.

Will CQuartz help resist bird droppings and rain water spots?

Yes, CQuartz Finest Reserve and CQuartz Professional do an excellent job of resisting both and they usually wash off easily without leaving a trace. We do recommend avoiding sprinkler systems as some locations can contain an incredibly high mineral content. Bird bombs should be removed as soon as possible as shown in our care tips if spotted. While bird poo can actually eat through wax in seconds and etch clear coat in minutes, CQuartz will stop it from reaching your paint. Most bird bombs will not even leave a mark on the CQuartz after being washed off.

CQuartz Professional service

Your CQuartz Professional Installer has been trained to use only high quality professional products on your vehicle.  They start with a high level wash followed by an intensive 2-3 step decontamination process to remove all bonded contaminants from above and beneath the surface of the paint.
Following the “decon” process the paint is further analyzed and the best combinations of high tech pads and polishes are tested to produce the highest gloss possible.  This may include polishing the entire vehicle 2 and sometimes 3 times to reach this level.
After the paint is perfected all the polishing oils are stripped from the vehicle with the use of CarPro Eraser.  This step is essential so that CQuartz Professional will fully bond with the paint.  When the paint is determined to be 100% oil free, 2 thick layers of CQuartz Professional are applied.
Additional services including coating of interior, glass, convertible top, plastic trim, brightwork, and wheel coating are also offered by our installers.  Some of these items may be included in your CQuartz Professional package or may be offered a la carte. Your approved detailer will make sure the coating is fully dry and waterproof before hand over, you can drive straight into the rain after picking up your vehicle from the detailer.

Wait at least 7 days before washing with soap or cleaners. Remove bugs or bird droppings immediately using CarPro Echo2 and a damp microfiber cloth. Spray the area, let it sit for 1-2 minutes, and gently wipe without pressure, turning the cloth frequently.

Will the sun have any effect on my vehicle after it is released to me?

What is the proper way to wash my vehicle?

If you do not have your installer maintain your vehicle we recommend using the CarPro Merino Wool Wash Mitt and microfiber drying towel.  Ask your installer for tips or training on how to safely and properly wash your vehicle.

Never allow a car dealership to wash your vehicle.  They do not understand how to, nor do they have the time or equipment to do so without introducing swirls into your perfect finish.

Can I clay my car?

No, you should not clay your vehicle. Detailing clay is highly abrasive.
 
Now that it is coated, regular washing will remove contaminants easily and bonded contaminants will become rare.  In the case that bonded contaminants do collect, CarPro Iron X will easily dissolve them without hurting your coating.  Consult your Approved Installer if any doubt.

Can wax be applied over CQuartz?

Yes and No – Yes wax can be applied over your coated vehicle however this practice is not only pointless but also temporarily changes the behavior of dust, dirt, and water sheeting on the surface.  CQuartz is far superior to wax and will stay cleaner if traditional waxes and sealants are left off of it.
"I enjoy waxing my car.  Is there something else I can apply to CQuartz that is not an inferior product?"
Yes, we highly recommend CarPro Reload.  Reload is an inorganic quartz sealant with SiO2 in a water based formula.  Reload adds slickness and gloss to your paint and can be utilized to maintain peak showroom shine and slickness.
